Even the simplest shade system can have a significant impact on the aesthetics of a commercial business, provided it is designed, manufactured and installed with quality as the highest priority. The car park shade structures at The Glen Hotel provide an excellent example of the benefits of attention to detail.

One of the requirements of the construction company who were building the car park was that the shade system had to be installed with minimal impact on the construction company's operations. In order to meet this requirement, the project was delivered over four separate days. All of the footings were commenced and completed in one working day. The posts were installed in one day on the following week, and the top frames and fabric were installed over two consecutive days. The fabric used in this project is the Australian made Monotec 370 shade cloth. By using Monotec 370 we only had one fabric join which ran down the length of each structure. This reduced manufactuing costs and improved the aesthetics of the completed project.

We were able to keep costs down by removing and reusing the temporary stainless steel tensioning cables. This also gives the project a clean finish. The Glen Hotel has returned to Advanced Shade Systems for new shade projects as they are very happy with the quality of the work produced by our company.
