Advanced Shade Systems are proud to have been a part of the redevelopment of Kurrawa Pratten Park into the Gold Coast's first 'All Abilities Playground'.

The Gold Coast Parks website states:

The All Abilities Playground is a place for inclusive play that:

• enhances the enjoyment of play for all children regardless of their ability
• provides a safe and magical play environment that stimulates the imagination
• encourages interaction through dramatic play, cooperation and sharing
• stimulates the senses through visual, sound and tactile elements
• allows parents and carers to relax and enjoy the children at play

Our shade design and proposal met the required brief and we were able to complete the project within the desired time frame.

The most unusual part of the projects was the design and fabrication of the anti-vandal devices. We designed these devices to look like fish and umbrellas, so they did not disrupt the theme of each area. Once installed, the anti-vandal devices proved to be one of the most commended parts of the shade project.

We are ecstatic to have been involved in this project and we hope that the Gold Coast community can enjoy the park and its facilities for years to come.
